Not every user must or should have access to all personal data of customers and staff. Add individual users or user groups to a new user group to grant permission for topics relevant to data protection.

  1. Go to the  Administration tab and select expand User administration >   User groups > neu New.
  2. Enter a self-explanatory group name.
    Example: Data protection+
  3. Go to the Tabellendetails Permissions tab and tick the "Read" column to activate reading rights. Users without reading rights for a table will not be able to see the data it contains.
    Example: Columns "Accounts: Bank details", Staff: Staff member address, Robinson list
  4. Assign further permissions (new, delete, print, etc.) by ticking the respective columns.
  5. Go to the  Users / Groups tab to assign individual users or user groups with access rights to the selected data.
  6. save Save your input by clicking on the icon in the top left-hand corner of the input window.
