Only items that are assigned to a production item group are shown in the ProductionControlApp. If these item groups have not already been set up for other modules (Item details and Recipes or Purchasing), they must be created now.

1. Go to the  Administration tab and click on   Settings >  Items.
2. Create the following Item groups as top groups: Production items, ingredient items, pre-production items, purchase items.
3. Set the Item assignment to "For structuring only" for all these groups.
4. Create suitable Item groups .
   Example: Production item: Production meat, production fish, production side dish
   Ingredient item: Spice mix du chef
   Pre-production items: peeled potatoes
